Good to know
Microsoft 365 needs a backup of its own
Microsoft is responsible for the availability of the service. Responsibility for the data itself stays with you. A deleted item is kept for a limited time only, and after that it cannot be recovered.
That is why we offer Acronis Microsoft 365 backup: an independent copy of the email, OneDrive, SharePoint and Teams, outside the Microsoft environment.

FAQ
Frequently asked questions about Microsoft 365
What is the difference between Office 365 and Microsoft 365?
Microsoft 365 is the current name for what used to be called Office 365. The plans for small and medium-sized businesses are called Microsoft 365 Business, and the plans for large organizations are Microsoft 365 E3 and E5.
What is the difference between Business Basic and Business Standard?
Both plans include business email, Teams and OneDrive. In Business Basic, the Office apps are available in the browser and on mobile only. In Business Standard, they can also be installed on the computer.
When should you choose Business Premium?
When, in addition to email and the Office apps, you also want a security and management layer: Microsoft Defender for Business, device management with Intune and tools for information protection. It is a common choice for businesses that work with sensitive data or with remote employees.
Who are the E3 and E5 licenses suited to?
Organizations with more than 300 users, or organizations that need Enterprise-level security, compliance and management capabilities. E5 adds the full Microsoft security suite and analytics tools on top of E3.
Can different licenses be combined in the same organization?
Yes. Each employee can be given the license that fits their role, for example Business Basic for field staff and Business Premium for managers. We will help you build the mix.
Do you migrate our existing email?
Yes. We offer a setup and migration service: connecting the domain, creating the users and migrating the mailboxes, calendars and contacts from the current provider.
Does Microsoft back up our data?
Microsoft maintains the availability of the service, but does not provide a full backup of your data. Deleted items are kept for a limited time. That is why adding an external Microsoft 365 backup is recommended, and we provide it using Acronis.
How much does Microsoft 365 cost?
The price depends on the license type, the number of users and the setup services you choose. Send us the details using the form on this page and we will get back to you with a clear quote.
